Birthdays & Visitors

July 15, 2016
Now we have a 3 year old and a one year old!

We've had another busy month with birthdays and visitors. Eve, Grammy, and Sierra all had birthdays! Auntie Lyn came to visit, we dog sat for our friends Crystal and Onkar, and my mom came to town from CT. Gus and I just recently started upgrading our living room DIY style. Luckily we have had the babysitting help of Auntie and Grammy on a multiple occasions.

Spending time at Shaver Lake has become one of our favorite things to do each week. Sometimes we meet friends and sometimes it's just the girls and I. Either way we have a great time.

On Sierra's birthday we visited Basilwood farm to say hello to the goats. We also went to yogurt and pet some kittens at the pet store in  Prather. Our friends Emily and her two kids spent the morning with us.

I bought 4 more chickens and picked them up after the girls were asleep, so it was a fun surprise for them when they woke up the next morning. Sierra can now pick up Lulu on her own and has held all of our other 4 ladies. She loves that they are her birthday chickens.

 Shaver Lake never gets old!
We still get out in the neighborhood, but we have to get out early before the heat of the sun gets to us.
Eve is ready for the tour! Even though I haven't watched any of the stages or finishes yet this year.
Library time this summer has been another activity that we try to make it to every week.
It was great to see my mom for her visit!
We had an early birthday treat for Sierra when she was here.
We were able ti get down to the river gorge with our friends who live in the neighborhood.
A new restaurant opened in Prather that seems great based on our recent visits.
 Sister love melts my heart!

 Eve's getting so big now.
We put her in her sister's 1 year birthday dress which was also father's day.

We had a brunch for her at our house and invited a few friends over.

Sierra, Eve, Gus and I all like the gift we gave Eve.

I still get out for runs (Sierra likes to run sometimes too), but now that the heat is so high we don't get out as much.
I know a lot more happened this month, but it gets hard to keep up with it all in my head! Thank goodness for pictures!
